OpenAI, o3 ve o4-mini’yi Yayımlamak Üzere: GPT-5’in Gelmesi de Yakın!

The o3 model, which was put on hold in February, is being reintegrated into OpenAI’s plans. The company aims to unveil both the o3 and o4-mini models within the next few weeks. As for GPT-5, it seems we’ll have to wait a bit longer, but its announcement is looming.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman shared the reasons for the delayed launch of GPT-5 through a post on X.

Altman: We plan to release GPT-5 within a few months

Altman stated that they are continuing to work on reaching a more advanced version of GPT-5. He mentioned that integrating all the features smoothly has proven more challenging than anticipated. Additionally, he expressed their goal to enhance infrastructure capacity to meet the expected high demand. Ultimately, he added that they plan to release GPT-5 within a few months, indicating that the new model’s arrival is imminent.

He also noted that the new version is designed to operate with varying levels of intelligence, with features being available to users based on their subscription packages. OpenAI announced that it is not solely focusing on GPT-5. Alongside the o3 pro and o4-mini models, the company revealed plans to release an open-source language model for the first time since GPT-2. The new model will possess reasoning capabilities and will undergo various security assessments prior to release.
