OpenAI Resmen Duyurdu: Yeni Yapay Zeka Modeli GPT-4.1!
OpenAI continues its relentless work in the field of artificial intelligence. The company’s latest move is the release of GPT-4.1. This new model can process more context and operates more efficiently compared to its predecessors.
OpenAI has announced the GPT-4.1 model, an advanced multimodal AI model developed after last year’s GPT-4o. Notably, GPT-4.1 excels in code writing and understanding commands, with its standout feature being the ability to process up to a full million tokens, far surpassing the 128 thousand token limit of GPT-4o.
GPT-4.1 Available in Three Variants
The new model offers developers three options: GPT-4.1, the more affordable GPT-4.1 Mini, and the low hardware requirement-focused GPT-4.1 Nano. OpenAI has stated that these models demonstrate a more consistent ability to distinguish relevant information in long texts. Additionally, the company noted that GPT-4.1 operates with a 26% lower cost compared to GPT-4o.
With this introduction, it was announced that the GPT-4 model used in ChatGPT would be removed from the platform on April 30. Furthermore, the preview version of GPT-4.5 provided via API will also be discontinued on July 14. OpenAI has emphasized that GPT-4.1 delivers similar or better performance with reduced latency.
Immediately following GPT-4.1, OpenAI announced its preparation to introduce new reasoning models called “o3” and “o4 mini.” Initial hints about these models have emerged in recent updates to ChatGPT’s web version.
